Labour Affairs: Social security and Skill Training

Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung, together with officials, visited Social Security Clinic in Thaketa Township of Yangon Region on Friday.

Officials reported on the transfer of the Social Security Clinic and South Okkalapa Township Social Welfare Office. The Union Minister discussed the need to provide quality health care service, while striving to become reliable one for the employers and insured workers.

Then, the Union Minister inspected the condition for opening of South Okkalapa Township office. They later visited the Prayer Hall of the ministry at the Eastern Entrance of Shwedagon Pagoda, and gave necessary instructions.

The Union Minister and party also visited Skill Training School in Dagon Myothit (North) Township, and encouraged the trainees under Employment Permit System (EPS). The Union Minister also inspected the training school building and greening works.
