Kyaukphyu Deep Sea Port Project: Meeting to establish Myanmar GDE Consortium

The Scrutiny Committee on the formation of the Myanmar Government Designated Entity (GDE) Consortium for the Kyaukphyu Deep Sea Port Project held its 1st meeting on Saturday.

In this meeting at the Ministry of Commerce, Deputy Minister U Min Min stressed that the successful implementation of the Kyaukphyu Deep Sea Port Project is very important for the development of our country.

In the implementation of the Kyaukphyu Deep Sea Port project, local ethnic entrepreneurs and experienced businessmen who can actually work will be invited to cooperate, he added. This meeting discussed in detail the plans to be carried out according to the policies and procedures to carry out the selection process of proposed applications of Myanmar companies.
