Kuwaiti Crown Prince welcomes Saudi counterpart

Saudi Arabia's crown prince arrived in Kuwait on Friday, marking his last stop in the region this week as the Saudi heir to the throne tours the six U.S.-allied Gulf Arab states that make up the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Saudi crown prince has been discussing during his tour the bilateral ties with each state, persistent tensions with Iran, the ongoing war in Yemen and other regional crises. The prince has been empowered by his father, King Salman, to manage the country's day-to-day affairs.
