French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Kuwait Monday marking the start of a three-day official tour across four Persian Gulf states. President Macron and the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal oversaw the signing of key cooperation declarations and bilateral agreements spanning multiple sectors.

The delegation is focusing on energy cooperation, addressing stability in the Strait of Hormuz, and securing stable fuel and oil supplies to manage broader economic pressures and high living costs in Europe. The G7 countries, chaired this year by France, agreed in early October to draw up to 100 million barrels of oil from their strategic reserves to ease pressure.
