The governments of Kosovo and Montenegro signed an agreement in Pristina on Friday for the usage of air space between the two countries. Prime Minister Albin Kurti said he signed the agreement for air services with the acting Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović.

The agreement, according to Kurti, will shorten flights by 15 minutes. In a news conference, Kurti expanded on the agreement's benefits to civil aviation, including an impact on ticket prices. Abazović said the deal was an example of good cooperation between the two states. Until now, the existing entry and exit corridors between Montenegro and Kosovo were used only for NATO military flights.
