Korean K-pop artistes: First group of 24 Korean K-pop artistes arrived

For the bilateral cultural exchange and entertainment for the people during 1385 Myanmar Traditional New Year Maha Thingyan Water Festival, first group comprised of 24 Korean K-pop artistes arrived at Yangon at nightfall on 9th April.

They left for Nay Pyi Taw by special buses in the morning on 10th and arrived at Shwe Ei The Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.The group of Korean K-pop artistes were warmly welcome by MRTV Thingyan Chorus dance group. In the evening, they arrived at MRTV in Tatkone Township in Nay Pyi Taw and the officials and ethnic people from ethnic TV channels extended hearty welcome to them.At the Conference Roo, officials concerned from MRTV and Korean K-pop artistes discussed in detail to participate in Friday Night Music Live Show produced and broadcast by MRTV HD Channel as New Year Maha Thingyan third show and to present Korean K-pop songs and dances in Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan.

Among the first arrived group of 24 Korean K-pop artistes comprised of actress Bang Eun Hee who portrayed in several films and TV series, K-pop singers Rejen,Henny, and7 Kids Doll Group,Astel Dance Group andDJ-Saemi and 5 members of the group on 11th April and second group comprised of 19 members on 14th April will arrive, it’s learnt.
