A museum dedicated to Islam's central religious text, the Koran, has opened in Mecca's Hira cultural district. The museum houses old copies of the Koran, rare manuscripts and visual displays showing how the Koran has been preserved through history.

Developed under the supervision and support of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, the museum seamlessly blends knowledge with modern technologies.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, visitors can explore a collection of rare manuscripts, historical copies of the Holy Quran, and interactive visual displays that illustrate the Quran's preservation throughout history.
