Knowledge Sharing Session: Prevention of financial fraud through mobile payments

A knowledge sharing session on the educative seminar on Prevention of Financial Fraud through mobile payment channels was held on Thursday.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win attended the session, and gave opeing remarks, emphasizing the need to have awareness on the online fraud due to technical ignorance and greediness. As the financial fraud is committed by the scammers worldwide, everyone is urged to keep an eye on the events happening across the world.

He also stressed to be causious in performing financial responsibilities. This was followed by the presentation of knowledge sharing session with the active participation by the attendees. The Central Bank of Myanmar organized the educative seminar on Prevention of Financial Fraud through mobile payment channels. During the session, presentation was made on online fraud among ASEAN countries, the possibilities of online fraud, the points need to be aware to avoid online fraud.
