Knowledge Sharing Session: Assessment on needs of community-based vocational education

On 28th January, Knowledge sharing session on Ethnic Affairs and assessment on needs of Community-Based Vocational Education was held in Hopone Township.

During the ceremony, Shan State Ethnic Affairs Minister U Aung Kyi Win and Chairman of the Township Administration Body gave remarks respectively. Then, knowlege sharing session continued under various topics including ethnic affairs awareness, needs of Community-Based Vocational Education, ethnic literature and culture activities, risks of narcotics and psychotropic substances and human trafficking prevention.

The session also focused on rights of women, persons with disabilities and children, the Worst Forms of Child Labour elimination, environmental management and climate change.

Then, the Pa-O, Shan and Lisu literature and culture associaions made discussions on necessities and the State Ethnic Affairs Minister and Chairman of the Pa-O Self Administered Zone Adminstration Body U Khun Ye Htwe supplemented the discussions. After delivering closing remarks, survey questionnaires were clarified and surveys were conducted.
