Knowledge Sharing Programme: MIFER organizes 43rd Edition of Friday Talk

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw attended the Friday Talk Knowledge Sharing Programme on Friday.

The 43rd edition of the programme shared the knowledge gained from the Seminar on Cross-border Transport under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement.

The Union Minister explained that RCEP is an agreement signed by 10 ASEAN member states and 5 dialogue partners, and it covers 30% of the world GDP.

According to this agreement, work processes are being carried out for rating taxation fro trading among the member countries,  engaging in normal trade and cross-border trade, applying Code System in export/ import procedures, using Single Window System for smooth process of import items and controlling with electronic technology.

He urged all to engage in the discussion with enthusiasm for well understanding of the process. The sharing session then followed with the active participation of over 120 attendees both in-person and online.
