







Organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER), the 37th Batch of Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) Friday Talk was conducted on Friday at the Ministry’s office in the presence of Union Minister Dr. Kan Zaw.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that KSP Friday Talk program, conducted by resource persons, intends for all ministerial staff to learn and share knowledge. In today's KSP program, the strategies for the development of E-Commerce policies were shared for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in CLMVT countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand.
The Union Minister expressed his belief that the country's GDP will be increased and economic momentum will be improved along with the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It is necessary for the employees to understand the law and regulations of SMEs in these countries and the E-Commerce network, he added.
Then, the official of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) gave a detailed discussion on the topic of "Knowledge sharing on E-commerce policy development and implementation strategies for the development of SMEs in CLMVT countries".
Then, the attendees discussed about non-tariff measures andproduction of high quality MSME products and the use of Online Platform in Myanmar.A total of 120 staff including the Deputy Minister, Director General, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Directors General and other concerned officials joined the program via online and in person.
