Knowledge Sharing: MoI UM shared knowledge on study tour to India

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than attended the knowledge sharing event on the study tour of Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister to the Steel mills, pharmaceutical factory, textile factory in India and meeting with the members of Chamber of Commerce and Industries held at the Ministry of Industry in the morning on 25th January.

First, the Union Minister shared the knowledge regarding with the study tour to the Steel Mills, Pharmaceutical Factory, Textile Factory, meeting with the members of Chamber of Commerce and Industries and other organizations in India, discussions on giving skill enhancement training for the demonstrators to turn out the skill workers required for the domestic industrial sector, sending personnel from Steel Mill, Pharmaceutical Factories and Textile Factories to acquire On Job Training to the factories of India, purchasing qualified medical raw materials from India and the cooperation for the MSMEs development.

The Union Minister instructed to prepare for selecting personnel to send to India for technical exchange and On Job Training, preparation for discussion with the members of Chamber of Commerce and Industries from India to visit Myanmar.

Next, the members of study tour including Managing Director  of Myanmar Pharmaceutical Enterprise, Managing Director  of Myanmar Economic Corporation Limited, advisor of construction of No (2) Steel Mill (Pingpet) and In-Charge of No (1) Steel Mill (Myingyan) clarified the findings, assessments and suggestions from the study tour and the Union Minister gave a speech of conclusion.
