King of Bhutan attends Maha Kumbh 2025

The King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, visited the Maha Kumbh on Tuesday and took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, marking a significant moment at the religious gathering.

The King was earlier received by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lucknow airport. Then, King Jigme and the Chief Minister Yogi attended a special dinner hosted by the governor of Uttar Pradesh. This visit highlights the cultural and spiritual ties between Bhutan and India.
