King Abdullah II’s Tokyo visit strengthens Japan-Jordan ties

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Jordan, Mazen Al-Qadi, received the Japanese Ambassador, Asari Hideki, on  Sunday.

They discussed ways to strengthen joint relations, particularly parliamentary ties. Al-Qadi and the Japanese Ambassador affirmed that the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the Japanese capital, Tokyo, last month, opens horizons for joint economic cooperation and strengthens the solid relations between the two countries.

Both Al-Qadi and the Japanese Ambassador stressed the importance of advancing the two-state solution as the gateway to security and stability in the region and the guarantor of the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.
