Kenya debuts electric charging station for motorcycles

A Nairobi-based green transport company unveils a multi-purpose electric motorcycle charging station, in a bid to decarbonize Kenya's transport sector.

The "Roam Hub" aims to cater to the demands of "boda-boda" riders, the mainstay of the motorcycle taxi industry.

"With the current economy and situations on fuel, we believe that e-mobility is going to be much cheaper and will ease the burden for those people who are low income-earners," the project manager said.
