Kayin New Year Day : Chief Minister attends Ceremony in Bago Township area

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the Kayin New Year Day Ceremony falling on the 11th of January in Thayetkone Village of Bago Township. The ceremony began with striking the Phasi drum and saluting the State Flag of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Kayin National Flag.

And, the Chief Minister gave a speech in commemoration of the Kayin New Year Day. This ceremony also included traditional performances and the Chief Minister presented cash awards to the artistes. This Kayin New Year Day Ceremony in Thayetkone Village of Bago Township concluded with the Kayin traditional foods serving.
