Kayin New Year : Celebration alive with traditional cultural dances

Taninthayi Region Kayin Ethnic Literature and Cultural Committee organized 2763 Kayin New Year celebration in Myeik on 10th January. After formal opening of the ceremony, Chief Minister U Myat Ko and officials enjoyed the dinner reception in honour of the New Year celebration.

During the ceremony, various Kayin traditional performances were staged, along with traditional Letweik events and display of cultural booths.
