Katy Perry and fellow all-women crew members prepare for Blue Origin flight

Blue Origin revealed the six-member all-women crew set to fly aboard its New Shepard rocket, with pop star Katy Perry among those preparing for the mission. The team gathered at the company’s rocket facility in western Texas ahead of the scheduled launch on Monday.

Joining Perry is Lauren Sanchez, fiancée of Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos, along with four other women selected for the landmark mission. This marks the first all-female spaceflight since Valentina Tereshkova's historic solo journey in 1963, underscoring a significant step for female representation in commercial space travel.
