Kathina Procession Festival: Shan State Government organizes the festival

The 74thMahaKathinaRobe Offering and Padaethapin procession was held in Taunggyi Township, Shan State (South) on 14th November.

The Chief Minister and wife and many other concerned officials led the procession of Padaethapins or Offertories Stands, donated by Shan State Chief Minister’s family, Shan State Government, departmental officials and well-wishers.

After the procession, the Padaethapins were proceeded to AtulaMarazein Su TaungPyae Pagoda Prayer Hall and they will later be donated to monasteries within Taunggyi Township. On 13th November, the Chief Minister and wife and concerned officials enjoyed the 3rd day of Taunggyi Tazaungdine Hot Air Balloon Releasing Festival which was held in full swing featuring musical performances and Hot Air Balloon Competition.
