Kate Middleton takes to the water in Great Britain SailGP

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, joined Sir Ben Ainslie and his GB SailGP Team on board of their F50 catamaran ahead of the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in Plymouth.

Her Royal Highness got behind the wheel as the British team beat New Zealand in a friendly 'Commonwealth Race'. As part of her visit to Plymouth, Her Royal Highness also visited a group of young people in her role as Royal Patron of the 1851 Trust - Great Britain's Race for the Future partner - and took part in a seagrass planting activity. The royal visit had inspired GB Team as they went on to win the first official race on Sunday.
