US Vice President Kamala Harris returned to New Hampshire for the first time since 2021 to deliver a speech focused on helping small businesses grow. During the speech at the Throwback Brewery, a woman-owned business in North Hampton, Harris touted her plan aimed at supporting what she called an opportunity economy.
Wednesday's speech was one of the first times since Harris ascended to the top of the party's ticket that voters heard her get into some of the details of her economic plan. She outlined policies aimed at supporting small businesses throughout the country, including by cutting red tape and increasing tax deductions for new startups from $5,000 to $50,000.
