Kamala Harris and Tim Walz start their battleground bus tour

US Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz embark on a bus tour of the swing state of Georgia, returning to the campaign trail after the Democratic convention for the final 10-week sprint against Donald Trump.

During Harris and Walz launch their bus tour in the Peach State on Wednesday, they’ll be making a rare trip through South Georgia where Democratic Raphael Warnock had success in the 2022 Senate runoff. The campaign boasts 24 Georgia field offices, including 7 in the southern part of the state with 50 full-time staffers, according to Harris campaign Georgia state director.
