Judiciary Matter: DPM discussed for judiciary proceedings for cirminal cases

A Judiciary Supporting Committee for Criminal Cases under Trial held its meeting 1/2023 at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday. Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister for Home Affaris Lt Gen Soe Htut, in his capacity as the Committee Chairman discussed that judiciary processes could not been held at full capacity since 2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19 disease.

A Judiciary Supporting Committee was formed with the aims to avoid hinderances and lossing the rights of those who have been procetuted. The first phase goal has been completed in December 2022, and the second phase is targeted to complete in July this year. He urged all to make cooperation and collaboration for meeting the target in line with the rules and procedures.
