JP lawmaker and CN Foreign Minister agreed on mutually beneficial relationships

Moriyama Hiroshi, who heads the Japanese ruling Liberal Democratic Party’s General Council met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Tuesday. They agreed that Japan and China will take specific steps to promote “mutually beneficial relationships based on common strategic interests.”

Moriyama said that in the interest of making Japan-China relations truly constructive and stable, it is very important for them to take these specific steps, a principle recently reaffirmed at a Japan-China summit.
