The Jozenji Street Jazz Festival is underway in the northeastern Japanese city of Sendai. The two-day event began on Saturday with a parade of performers dancing to the beat of African drums. Around 700 groups of jazz, pop and other music genres are featured in this year’s event with 41 stages set up on the city’s streets and in parks.
