Joint military drill with more than a dozen countries

U.S troops landed at the Juanda airbase of Indonesia on August 25th to participate in the 2023 Super Garuda Shield exercise will be held for two weeks starting August 31st, across several areas in east java. U.S is one of 17 countries expected to participate in the joint drill.

Other participants include the likes of the U.K, France, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and Papua New Guinea .The annual exercise is one of the biggest joint military exercises in the indo-pacific region.
