



The opening ceremony of Job Fair jointly organized by Directorate of labour under the Ministry of Labour, local and international agencies, entrepreneurs and youth affairs committee was held at Mandalarthiri Multi Purpose Stadium in Chan Mya Tharzi Township, Mandalay Region in the morning on Wednesday.
In his opening remark, the Union Minister for Labour Dr. Pwint Hsan said that the organizations, companies, domestic and oversea job service agencies co-organized the job fair for 67 times for the job creation in One Stop Service through direct meeting between employers and job seekers.
As the businesses and industries have been operating normally after COVID-19 pandemic, this job fair is jointly organized by the domestic and oversea job service agencies and business entrepreneurs.
The Ministry of Labour is carrying out for everyone in working age to get a job, giving skill training and to entitle the workers’ right depending on the labour law etc. Next, the Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko said that the Mandalay region government is carrying out for the growth of job opportunities and attracting the international investments for the region in line with the guidance of the chairman of the state administration council by implementing to maintain the stability of market economy and build the economic development of the entire people by inviting the international investments, strengthening domestic industries to create the job opportunities to manufacture the products of the country and to turn out the skill labours.
Mandalay Region Government is opening vocational trainings for the youth to create the job opportunities and nurturing skilled labour constantly etc.
Afterward, the union minister, chief minister and officials opened the job fair by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and viewed the job seekers at the job fair and the displays of the companies and industries. A total of 35 local and international job agencies and companies is participated in the job fair, it’s learnt.
