Jill Biden salutes youth for caregivers support

First lady Jill Biden gave a speech at a Summit for America's Youth - Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Summit for America's Youth for dedicating careers for children and especially praised them for their work in support of Hidden Helpers.
In her remarks in Washington, Dr. Biden addressed the emotional wellness and mental health of children caregivers and emphasized the support needed for the children of wounded veterans and their unique service to the country. She also addressed the national challenges and the impact of caregiving on children growing up in military caregiving homes. In April 2021, the White House Joining Forces initiative teamed up with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project to launch Hidden Helpers, designed to provide support for the children of America's 5.5 million military caregivers.
