Jill Biden meets Ukraine refugees on Mother's Day

US First Lady Jill Biden on Sunday visited a school in eastern Slovakia that is hosting Ukrainian refugee students. Biden met both Slovakian and Ukrainian mothers with their children in the Kosice school as the families participated in Mother's Day activities together.

Biden is on the third leg of a four-day trip to Romania and Slovakia, which shares a border with Ukraine that is designed to showcase U.S. support for the refugees. Biden is using her second solo overseas trip to get an up-close look at the Ukrainian refugee crisis.
