Japan's Emperor meet Mongolia's President in Ulaanbaatar

Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako Tuesday attended a welcoming ceremony in Mongolia's capital Ulaanbaatar before meeting with President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and his wife at the State Palace.

Naruhito’s visit marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the war. During a weeklong visit, Japan would focus on boosting trade with the nation of 3.5 million, whose resources of coal, copper and other minerals are largely exported to China.
