Japanese astronaut Suwa to make his first space journey around next year

Japanese astronaut Suwa Makoto would make his first journey into space around next year. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency announced on Friday that Suwa would make a long-term stay on the International Space Station from around 2027. Suwa could become the first Japanese astronaut to set foot on the moon's surface under the international lunar exploration project, the Artemis program.
