




Japan Summer Festival 2023 will be held at Japan Culture House in Yangon on the 19th of this month and the center organizes various kinds of events every month for cultural exchange between Myanmar people.
Japan Culture House was opened in Bahan Township of Yangon on 31st August 2016 for a new space for experiencing Japanese culture and promoting cultural exchange between people of the two countries.
During Japan Summer Festival period, making fans and game programs will be included. The summer in Japan starts from July to the end of August and September.
To overcome the hot weather, Japanese people wear comfortable traditional Japanese Yutaka dresses. Japanese people enjoy their summer season by holding traditional funfairs, having traditional local food and enjoying the sound of Cicadas in the summer evening.
And the day when the sky is cleared, people in Japan usually go to enjoy firework events with their families and friends by wearing Yutaka dresses. This is one of the lovely traditions of Japan.
And this year Japanese summer festival in Yangon will start at 10 am in the morning and those who want to wear Japanese traditional Yutaka dresses can list in advance, it’s reported.
