Japan Summer Dance Festival kicked off

One of the Japan’s leading summer dance festivals, Awa Odori, is taking place in the western prefecture of Tokushima with full precautions against earthquakes.

The festival was opened with indoor performances on 11th August. And about 1,500 dancers in 15 prominent groups participated in outside performances that began on Monday and is scheduled to run through Thursday.
