Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said North Korea's launch of projectiles on early Tuesday is not an immediate threat to Japan at his regular news conference.

Suga said the Japanese government has not confirmed any ballistic missiles into Japanese territories or exclusive economic zone. Suga also said that Japan will continue to cooperate closely with the U.S. to implement the U.N. Security Council resolution against North Korea to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.
