




Organizers of 2025 World Expo in Osaka are training people to serve as guides at its venue. About 1,000 guides will be on hand for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
The event opens on April 13 and it is expected to attract as many as 220,000 visitors per day. The session covered how to give directions around the venue and how to communicate with foreigners using translation machines.
Participants used wheelchairs to think about how to support people with disabilities. They also used white canes while keeping their eyes closed. One participant said she learned it will be important to ask visitors whether they need help because many of them may be in trouble. She added that she wants to provide great hospitality.
