



The Japan-Arab Economic Forum has begun its two-day session in Tokyo. The forum is being held in Japan for the first time in 11 years, and boosting economic ties is the main item on the agenda. The forum is jointly held by the Japanese government and the League of Arab States.
On Wednesday, government and business officials discussed issues including expanding investments from Japan and dealing with climate change. League Secretary General Aboul Gheit said he expects stronger cooperation from Japanese businesses in various areas including education, energy transformation and digital technology.
