Japan’s Princess Aiko attends annual equestrian event

Princess Aiko, the daughter of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, attended an annual equestrian event at a facility in Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward on Tuesday.

The event featured a demonstration of traditional equestrian skill by members of an Imperial horsemanship team. An indoor event featured a performance by Tomoto Kazuma, an Olympian who won a bronze medal in a team event in the Paris Games last year, as well as high-school students working on their riding.
