Three people died and two others injured from a landslide at old mining plot in PhaKant of Kachin State on early Tuesday.

The accident occured at the old mining plot of Myanmar Thura Gems Company near SaPaut (စပေါ့) Village of HseinMu Village-tract at around 3:00 am.

The landslide covers 150 ft high and about 20 wide areas at the old mining plot, and leaving three jade seekers on the spot. The injured people are sent to PhaKant People's Hospital.
