Hosts Ivory Coast defeated Nigeria 2-1 in the Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday to win the tournament for the third time. William headed Nigeria in front late in the first half in Abidjan, but Ivorian professional footballer Franck equalized on the hour and Ivory Coast player Haller poked in the winner with nine minutes left.
