President Donald Trump's daughter and senior adviser Ivanka Trump provided families with food for the holidays on Monday by handing out food boxes as part of a Trump administration initiative launched amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Dozens of boxes were delivered by hand in a car that snaked around Christ Chapel in Woodbridge, Virginia. Ivanka Trump wore a black mask while loading cars by hand and chatting with drivers.

The $3 billion Farmers to Families Food Box program was announced in April by the Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the program is designed to distribute boxes of surplus produce, dairy and meat to families in need across the country.
