Italy's Giorgia Meloni hosts Palestinian PM Mohammad Mustafa for talks at Palazzo Chigi in Rome during his inaugural visit to Europe since his appointment by Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas in March.

Italy pledged to reinstate financial support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), totaling 35 million euros. Of this amount, five million euros will be allocated to UNRWA, while the remaining 30 million euros will be designated for Italy's "Food for Gaza" initiative, in collaboration with UN aid organizations.
