Italian PM Meloni meets with Chinese Premier Li Qiang

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met her Chinese counterpart Li Qiang at the People's Palace in Beijing on Sunday. Italian Prime Minister is on a five-day visit to China, aiming to boost bilateral trade.

Meloni said Italy and China have signed a three-year action plan to implement past agreements and experiment with new forms of cooperation. Italy's non-binding memorandum of understanding with China had contained broad undertakings for cooperation in logistics, infrastructure, financial and environmental sectors.
