The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch its Space Docking Experiment, SpaDEX, on Monday from Sriharikota using PSLV-C60.

The mission will deploy two identical satellites to perform precision rendezvous and docking manoeuvres, validate power transfer between docked spacecraft, and operate payloads post-undocking.

The satellites have a planned lifespan of two years. This achievement is vital for India’s future lunar and interplanetary missions, enabling multi-launch operations and advancing preparations for human spaceflight programs.
