Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu concluded a four-day visit to Hungary, where the Hungarian government announced its intention to withdraw from the International Criminal Court.
The move follows the ICC's decision to pursue war crimes charges against Netanyahu over Israel's military actions in Gaza. During the visit, discussions focused on bilateral cooperation, including joint munitions production and regional security concerns.
Hungary also raised the issue of a Hungarian national reportedly held hostage in Gaza. Netanyahu is now en route to Washington for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump. The agenda is expected to include economic matters such as trade tariffs affecting Israel, military cooperation and ongoing efforts related to the conflict in Gaza.
