Israeli FM says supports Trump Gaza plan during visit to Czech Republic

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar reiterated his country’s support for the Trump administration’s plan for Gaza, emphasizing the need for security and regional stability. Speaking at a press conference in Prague, Saar highlighted the critical steps he believes are necessary for the plan’s success. 

Gideon Saar, Israeli Foreign Minister said  “We support the Trump plan in Gaza. In order for it to be implemented, Hamas must be disarmed and Gaza must be demilitarised. This is necessary for both Israel's security and a better future for Gaza.”

Saar added that dismantling armed groups such as Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen is essential to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.
