Israel allows Egyptian team to enter Gaza to help locate hostage bodies

The Israeli government said on Sunday, a team from neighboring Egypt has been allowed to enter the Gaza Strip to assist in search efforts for bodies of the deceased hostages.

The move came as Israel has strongly demanded that the Islamic organization Hamas return the remains of hostages based on a ceasefire agreement between the two sides. The agreement required Hamas to return all 48 hostages by October 13, but there has been a delay by Hamas in returning the bodies of some of the deceased hostages.
