Iraqi PM receives French presidential envoy

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met on Thursday with the French President's Special Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa in Baghdad to highlight the strengthening of bilateral relations.

The delegation led by Patrick Dorrell carried a message from French President Emmanuel Macron to the Prime Minister, seeking to develop cooperation and partnership between the two countries.

Dorrell extended an official invitation for Al-Sudani to visit Paris. The meeting stressed the need for continued mutual cooperation with the agreements and memoranda signed between the two countries.
