Iraq prime minister meets US ambassador in Baghdad

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi held talks with US ambassador Matthew H. Tueller in Baghdad on Saturday.

The pair discussed bilateral relations and the latest security developments in Iraq, according to a statement released by the prime minister's media office.

They also talked about ending the combat role of the international coalition forces and changing it to one of consolidation and support, based on the strategic dialogue principles.
