Iranian delegation arrives in Pakistan for US-Iran peace talks

On Saturday, delegations from the United States and Iran met in Islamabad, Pakistan, for high-level peace negotiations. The U.S. delegation was led by JD Vance, while the Iranian team included senior officials such as Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Abbas Araghchi.

These talks are part of the “Islamabad Talks”, a diplomatic effort to end the 2026 Iran–U.S. war and stabilize the region. The countries already agreed to a two-week temporary ceasefire on April 8. The meeting aims to turn it into a long-term peace agreement.
