Iran’s Energy Ministry announced plans to temporarily cut water supply in parts of Tehran during the night to curb consumption amid one of the country’s worst droughts in decades. Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi said the measure aims to reduce waste by shutting off water completely in low-demand hours. Authorities urged residents to store water in advance as shortages continue to affect major urban areas.
